If we just suppress these tensions and feelings in our life, we never rid ourselves of them. Rather, we end up holding on to these negative feeling tighter than ever before because we are afraid of letting them out. Through Karate we find we can let go of these negative feelings in a controlled and constructive way that promotes our health and increases our ability to perform.
Karate guides us along a path of living from courage. Courage to do what must be done. Courage to decide where we want to go. Courage to inspect our life and our thought patterns. And, in doing so, we find ways in which our own mind removes its support of achieving our goals and even unconsciously acts to sabotage our accomplishments. Courage like this, to question your own life and your own mind, leads to the uncovering of the weaknesses in the negative emotions, and it allows you to progress toward abundance in life, and to the power of your true self.
